Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the METix website operated by METix. By using this website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.
2. Purpose of the website
The website provides information about METix and its airport-weather intelligence capabilities, including historical METAR-related analysis, product features, operational use cases and ways to request further information or a demonstration.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written contract, material on this public website is provided for general product and informational purposes only and does not itself constitute an operational instruction, flight dispatch release, meteorological briefing, safety determination, engineering approval, legal advice or contractual commitment.
3. Permitted use
- use the website only for lawful business and informational purposes;
- do not attempt unauthorised access to the website, systems or infrastructure;
- do not interfere with, overload, disrupt or damage the website or its security mechanisms;
- do not submit malicious code, fraudulent requests, spam or misleading information;
- do not scrape, copy or reproduce substantial portions of the website except where permitted by law or authorised by us; and
- do not misrepresent an affiliation with METix or the organisation operating it.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website's design, branding, text, graphics, software, interfaces and other original material are owned by or licensed to METix and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No licence or ownership right is granted except for the limited right to access and use the website in accordance with these Terms.
5. Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free. Features, descriptions and availability may change.
6. Aviation and operational information
Any examples, screenshots, historical weather data, charts, percentages or descriptions shown on the public website are intended to illustrate METix capabilities. Operational decisions should be made using the procedures, approved sources, systems, responsibilities and regulatory requirements applicable to the relevant operator and operation. Any production use of METix should be governed by the applicable customer agreement, documentation and operational procedures.
7. Contact requests
Submitting the contact form does not by itself create a customer, supplier, partnership, employment or other contractual relationship. Commercial terms, service scope, pricing and commitments are binding only when agreed through an authorised written agreement.
8. Third-party services and links
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including infrastructure and form-processing providers. Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information submitted through this website is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that are not expressly stated. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. Any liability relating to a contracted METix service should be governed by the applicable written customer or service agreement rather than these public website Terms.
11. Changes to the website or Terms
We may update the website and these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page and identified by its last-updated date.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of EU (European Union), subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply. The competent courts shall be those determined in accordance with applicable law, including, where applicable, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
